It seems each year, the push for buying for Christmas begins earlier and earlier. Some stores are extending their store hours on Thankgiving, for goodness sake. Facebook friends are asking that nobody do shopping on the holiday. I feel sorry for retail clerks with the drive of opening at dawn and closing at midnight.
