Y is for yokel Synonyms of yokel are these: oaf, hick, rube, bumpkin, hayseed, clodhopper  and in the Hoosier state, a yokel is known as hillbilly. Oliver W. Storer was the owner and president  of the Muncie Baking Company in Muncie, Indiana.  A few years after he died, Aunt Millies bought the company.  One of our schools was named in honor of him. shared with ABC WEDNESDAY I'm grateful for Mrs. Nesbitt's creating this meme  and for Roger and others who keep it going.
