DAY 294 of NONNIE'S PHOTO A DAY: Beloved Dead of My Family

Day of the Dead : This practice originated in Mexico, and has since spread throughout the world.  I became better acquainted with Day of the Dead after a student’s parent led my class in the celebration of it. I've always enjoyed coloring, especially with colored pencils. My youngest son told me that science reports that coloring can be a calming activity.  Ha! I knew that already, but it is good that it’s valued, and I’m not just an adult  who didn’t want to give up “childish” activities.  Recently I found a mandala coloring book. Pilsner, type of beer Pinkus an organic brand origin- Deutschland  This beer is sold at Downtown Farm Stand; all foods sold there are organically grown or brewed, as with Pinkus .  It began in Munster, Germany in 1816, and the brewery is still active. shared with ABC WEDNESDAY the creator, Mrs. Nesbitt, is also this week's host thanks to her and all the team,  including  Roger- our go-to guy

DAY 289 of NONNIE'S PHOTO A DAY: Vintage Photo of Charlie and Our Momma

stern looking baby Mom’s face full of joy and pride older sister too I have a vivid memory of my sitting on the blue divan and Momma’s putting my baby brother Charlie on my lap.  He was adorable and sweet.  His sweet nature never changed. He was so well-thought of that his home improvement customers not only came to Charlie’s funeral but chose to speak of how Charlie made them feel.
