linked to Signs, Signs Sign in exam room, of my family doctor,  meaning is shelter. I found the translation here . I had presumed that it meant some kind of room, but couldn't remember the spelling to Google it.  My last visit, I had my Nikon so I snapped it while waiting for my doctor.  A little aside: this sign was left here by a retired doctor whose practice was in this same place.  He still has quite a dry wit.  His nom de plume for our newspaper's editorial page is "Dr. Coldwater."  One painting he posted in the old waiting room was all white with the title "Polar Bear in a Snowstorm."

A Photo A Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 311

This painting was created by my gifted daughter-in-law. It hangs in my bathroom where I can enjoy it many times a day.  When she painted it, her status was one of BFF.  Now she's both my BFF and daughter-in-law.  It's one of those relationships where each of us has been there for the other through thick and thin.   She and her hubby (my middle son) both have many talents; they often combine them for making gifts for family members. Daisies, white flowers, perking up my attitude with their loveliness.

A Photo A Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 310

Saturday, many churches had their annual Christmas bazaars.  I feel compelled to share most of the photos I snapped.  Baby doll with blanket embroidered with my dumpling's name.   One church had only quilted items. The ladies of the Evening Quilting Guild have talent galore!  My wallet, however, did not hold enough purchase power to buy all the products that I admired. This display was outside one of the churches. Musicians entertained potential buyers at one of the sites.   a gift to myself! I'd been searching for awhile for a purse with interior pockets.  It's lovely, well-done, practical and room for my Nikon to travel with me. the other side of my new purse enchanting Santas pinata quilt place mat two of many quilts over which I drooled
