Spring...What I Like about It

abundance of gorgeous irises In spring, what makes joy  sing in my heart and soul? the river flowing gleefully,   soccer being played outside, daffodils in bloom  cheering all with their sunshine yellow, sunlight all aglow in the green grass, luscious grape hyacinths, evidence of new life in the broken earth, warming temperatures, children at play, no more ice on the pond, reading books in the open air. What are the things in which you take delight when spring makes it entrance?

Greetings and blessings on this spectacular orb, celebrate Earth Day!   As you see here, walkers, runners and cyclists enjoy this trail   We in Muncie, Indiana, are blessed with the foresight of the planners in our city for starting with old railroads, changing their routes to a trail. They continued the trail alongside White River. This is one of the mile markers. Westside Park was here long before the trail was established. wood anemones, sweet and fragile looking flow'rs add beauty to spring The wood anemones are linked to Macro Monday .

Farewell

This weekend, our parish bids farewell to two people who have been an integral part of our  spiritual lives, Deacon Gary and his wife Carol. Moving to help one of their  precious daughters, we in turn, wish them sad good-bys and best wishes for this  new chapter in their lives.
