Spring...What I Like about It

abundance of gorgeous irises
In spring, what makes joy
sing in my heart and soul?
the river flowing gleefully,

soccer being played outside,

daffodils in bloom
cheering all with their sunshine yellow,

sunlight all aglow in the green grass,

luscious grape hyacinths,

evidence of new life in the broken earth,

warming temperatures,
children at play,

no more ice on the pond,

reading books in the open air.

What are the things
in which you take delight
when spring makes it entrance?

We are still waiting for spring to make it's entrance, so I would have to say, I take delight in anticipation. Lovely captures.
what a beautiful post and I LOVE your new blog photo at the top! Gorgeous! Our weather is FINALLY getting warm enough that we might have blooms too!

Caren,
Thank you, this lovely vista is at our church. Volunteers take care of different areas on the property, which is quite extensive.
