lavender blue sky sparks a childhood memory of a tuneful lilt "Lavender Blue (Dilly Dilly)"  is a song from the 1948 Disney film "So Dear to My Heart."  Burl Ives sang it and it made him and the song popular.   You can hear him sing it here . shared with Yogi's SKYWATCH FRIDAY

Mea culpa- I’ve been gathering documents nonstop since last Friday, hoping to buy a home near youngest son. Then today I’m catching up with undone tasks, I’m catching up here at 9:00 p.m. Whew!  neighbor's house caught fire thankfully no one was home not fit to live in lavender- grey sky    o’er parish sunken garden   meditation site shared with Yogi's SKY WATCH FRIDAY

Old Sol peeked not once ominous sky brought nothing but rain the whole day linked to  SKYWATCH FRIDAY hosted by Yogi this week
