Sepia Saturday#196: My Mother and Siblings

my mother, her mom and siblings ere my birth My grandmother, a widow with six sons and one daughter had married a second time to the grandpa I knew. Their children are the smallest ones in the photo. I don't know the pet's name because, as is seen here, the seven older children are adults and not living here. Momma must have come from work or was going there because she's dressed in a restaurant uniform. The Green Kitchen, where she was the cook,  was where she met my dad. I chose children as my subject for the meme Sepia Saturday

Macro Monday 2: Easter Lily in September

imagine my shock finding my Easter lily once again blooming! I put the dried Easter lily bulb in an area where once stood a barrel half whereas my sunflowers bloomed. I added planting soil, hoping that next spring God would do His tending, resulting in my pleasure of a blooming lily next Easter. Behold the beauty  celebrating a new season! l inking with delight to Macro Monday 2 hosted this week by Magical Mystical Teacher

Quotography: Mother Teresa Quote

"Let us always meet each other with [a] smile, for the smile is the beginning of love." ~Mother Teresa~ linking with gratitude to Quotography hosted by Kaylene and to Sepia Saturday  #195 hosted  by 'Little Nell' I chose to add the image of  my momma to Sepia Saturday because I believe that love is the foundation of peace. I took the picture of Momma when I was 13 or 14. I used a Kodak box camera like this one I found on ebay .
