NONNIE'S PHOTO A DAY, Day 186: Independence Day 2016

Yesterday our parish recited the Freedom Rosary for the benefit of religious freedom in our 50 states.   We prayed for each individual state and their residents. Below is George Washington's quote that prefaced the rosary.  Praying that our nation does not continue on the path where upon our religious freedoms are wiped away. Nonnie's Photo A Day: Nostalgia Collage

NOSTALGIA… Sweet Pea, Hotel Taft, Dallas mural, eggs & grandfather’s home I remember the sweet, soft smell of Sweet pea talcum powder.   I picture the apartment bathroom where the talc sat near the tub. The building’s mural was admired As my husband and I walked around  my uncle’s Dallas neighborhood. Our high school senior class stayed  in the Hotel Taft during our senior trip to New York and  Washington D.C. The home pictured here is the way the home looked  when  my great-grandfather was still alive. The easter eggs-  this was the last time  my youngest granddaughter dyed eggs with me.  She considers herself too old to do it now. Fun with a New Digital Kit

Earlier today I happened upon a most delightful Etsy shop called Elegant Whispers. For just $4 I acquired "From Teddi with Love Kit." This is my first attempt doing a digital collage. I uploaded different elements  to my Creative Memories Storybook Creations program. I had fun trying different images on the page. If you like doing art work in a digital form, I encourage you to visit Elegant Whispers . I intend to shop there and acquire more of  Patti Koosed's products.

The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!" ~Numbers 6:22-26~ May your days be blessed with peace given by Our Lord, and pass it onward!
