I spied you eating. With delight, I rushed to find you in Audubon! more Weekly  Top Shot I figured this was a woodpecker of some kind. Sorrowfully, Audubon's North American Birds showed no such bird for me.  Later, youngest son googled on his phone.  Nope, no help there.  Bleh!  Still later, I was reading comments on my blog so I followed the commentator to her blog.  (I like to visit the sites of those who take the time to comment.)  Black Jack's Carol had an image of my new bird!  It's a female downy woodpecker.  Hurrah for bloggers who share their knowledge with us!
