Bishop Emeritus Higi, Father Pogue (present pastor) and Father Bates Father Bates, Father Goth (pastor of St. Lawrence)  and Bishop Emeritus Higi Father John, previous long-time pastor of St. Francis, holds the church mortgage. It has been satisfied five years ahead of time. Bishop Emeritus Higi was bishop then and dedicated the church. This crucifix hangs in St. Francis Church, revered because of Christ's love. more Weekend Reflections Most crucifixes in Catholic churches are attached to a wall. This one hangs from the ceiling, giving depth to our Lord's figure and the wooden cross on which it hangs. The pastor who oversaw the addition to St. Francis' Church was fortunate to have extraordinary parishioners who were gifted artisans.

holy water font in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Holy water runs down and around lovely tiles offering blessings. St. Francis is my middle son and his wife's home parish. On certain holy days I attend Mass there.
