1. June 18: Granddaughter’s wedding in Cancun. Middle son performed a sand ceremony . 2. Great-grandson Amari born April 19.   3. Granddaughter Miriam born July 17. 4. Middle son & Granddaughter built chicken coops for her and hubby’s chickens. Candice started raising mushrooms last year. Their homestead is becoming a real Green Acres! 5.   A disastrous scene surprised me  as I neared the familiar corner where the old grocery store  turned flea market once stood.  The story waited to be read by me  in our town’s newspaper. It’s an age-old story waiting to be told  in many places- gas lines and water lines-  installed 50 to 100 years ago finally “give up the ghost.”  Visit ABC Wednesday   for other 'D' words.
