ABC Wednesday: Alison

My dad sitting with his granddaughter
Alison.  I wonder what was the topic
being batted back and forth?
She's decked out for swimming,
with added protection
of her life jacket.
This little girl, when she was six,
swam on a swim team (her brothers at 7 and 8 did too).
When she hit high school, she swam on the boys'
swim team because there was no girls'
team.  I was so proud of her taking on
such a groundbreaker as that!
Of course, she's still making me proud.

So, we meet again (aka Quotography)! There is such a special bond between grandpas and granddaughters, isn't there. Alison sounds like an amazing young lady. And the fact that they're sitting on the side of the pool is perfect!

Such a special moment between them. That's the way our granddaughters feel about my hubby, their Papaw. What a great accomplishment to swim with the boys team--I'm sure she is still a great swimmer. For your question on the icons for the modern day alphabet chart--I found it on the internet--can't take credit. It's so funny though, I'm sure all the students today relate to it.
