A Photo A Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 317

linked to Quotography

“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.”
~Mark Twain~

I picked the statue portraying Mary because she answered yes to God. Even though she was afraid and did not understand all that her "yes" encompassed, she showed courage with her answer.

Mary did show true courage in the face of much cultural ridicule of the day. The strength of her faith is an inspiration to us all.

Mary was a truly courageous woman. I can't even imagine the things she had to endure. And the greatest of them all... watching her Son, our Lord and Savior, suffer for the sins of the world.
