ABC Wednesday, Letter: 'V'

V is for violet
I know that 'violet' is a common word that even little ones  know what it means, but I wanted to share all these violet ornaments spotted at Walmart.

V is for vermeil.
I discovered this 'v' word at my favorite site for building my vocabulary.

I love it too, but my tree this year is a more calming color combo of blue and silver with blue lights.

I would never have thought of violet as a colour I found particularly attractive but that is, I have to say, very beautiful.
