Virgin Mary: Gift from a Friend

When my friend gifted me with this statue of our blessed Virgin Mary, I first thought that her location should be where she would greet my visitors.  After all, she would be the first sighting when each drove up my driveway.  Then I realized that I wanted to see her up close and personal.  So, below is the place where she resides now.
Blessed is Mary,
 virgin, yet Mother of all
who trust in her Son.

Yes, I can imagine you do want her 'up close and personal' and sure she wants that too. x

The big surprise I got when my friend said that I'd be able to put the statue in my car (what! by myself?)was that it's made of a lightweight material, yet it looks like concrete.

Among my greatest treasures are the Mary's that have been given to me during my lifetime. Yours is a treasure, She and the friend.
What a beautiful presence among your flowers!

Best wishes,
Ruby
