Macro Monday: River Walk and Earth Day

Greetings and blessings
on this spectacular orb,
celebrate Earth Day!

As you see here,
walkers, runners and cyclists
enjoy this trail

We in Muncie, Indiana, are blessed
with the foresight of the planners
in our city
for starting with old railroads,
changing their routes to a trail.
They continued the trail
alongside White River.
This is one of the mile markers.

Westside Park was here
long before the trail was established.

wood anemones,
sweet and fragile looking flow'rs
add beauty to spring

The wood anemones are linked to Macro Monday.

A lot of the old railways in the UK have been turned into cycle and foot ways. It's a good use for them as you say. Nice to see more parts of your town too.

Earth Day has been celebrated welcomed in sun. Just as it should. There is an old RR path here as well, they now call the bridle path. I love to run my dog there as I can see long distance and snap her up on leash again should someone come along. So far the tourists haven't discovered it. I hope it stays that way-it's my oasis in the summer.
Have a great day.

Are your Wood Anemones out already? Wow. It will be another month at least before ours are.

indeed they are, John, and both my dwarf and regular lilac bushes are full of buds! I had to cover them Sunday night because of predictions of 30 degrees.
