ABC Wednesday: S is for Soccer

soccer game
CJ, 33
playing well!

CJ is one of my twin grandsons.
Both CJ and Alex played well,
but I never could get a
close enough shot of Alex
as I did this one of  CJ.

Even when I saw one of the twins' older sister play soccer years before this, I was exhausted just from watching the game! Soccer was not yet popular when my three oldest kids were young. The twins' dad swam the 500.

My Dad was quite famous locally in his day...and he's now immortalized in the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame! If they'd had girls' teams in those days, I would have played!

Organic and Fresh Salad

The beans seen above and layered on my salad below are grown by my granddaughter Candice.  The name of the beans is Tanya's Pink Pods. All veggies on her Earth Candy Acres farm are organically grown. The beans are delicious and tender, making a grand addition to my salad. Topping the veggies are dried cranberries, adding a bit of sweetness.
