Signs: Westside Park

For once I am too young (insert grin here) to
have experienced the days gone by
when Westside Park was an amusement park.
However, a postcard of the roller coaster
and four other postcards about the park
can be viewed on Flickr/hoosier_recollections.

White River Greenway,
walking trail by White River
next to Westside Park.

Even though I've walked
more than a few times on the trail,
I've never taken the time to read these signs.
I finally did read them and, as you can see,
I captured their information on my camera.

Westside Park,
in olden times gone by
before I was born.

Looks like a fun park for walking. Thanks for taking me along. Re your visit to my blog...no, she will not be a mommy. Breaks my heart because she is soooo sweet, but I have to remember that those are human feelings and not bird instincts. She'll be ok. It's me that will be loony!

Guess I would have missed it to giving my year is 1939. This was an interesting post what I really enjoyed reading. Nonnie...I am having the worst time getting to your blog to comment. Time after time Blogger tells me the site no longer exists. Finally, tonight I kept trying and had success. I have not forgotten you...Blogger is being a big pain in the neck.genie
