Last winter a reader asked
me to share the shadow of the oak tree
when leaves returned on it.

The shadow adds an additional beauty to Mary. Not too hot as the leaves shield the sun from her, but not too dark as the radiance of her shines through. Very nice!

I love the color contrast and depth were darker and lighter shadows.

thank you, Judy. I figure it's because there's more light penetrating through the tree's leaves, an added bonus.
