I've always LOVED that word! It's what you might consider onomatopoeia!

The word sounds like its meaning, - I think of a henhouse....

Oh I love that word! It seems to be so descriptive. I remember first using it when I was about 12 years old and used it to describe the loud sounds of nearby church bells.
A great word (which I always have trouble spelling!)

It could drive you nuts if you are here during the festival of Diwali, and the noise exceeds very high decibels and cacophony levels too!!
