Sepia Saturday: My 3 Dumplings

original print

our 3 sweet dumplings,

ages one, two and six months
one not so happy

Momma wanted a photo of her babies;
never mind that they were not
the least bit interested
in sitting still.
I could squeeze them still
looking at this memory of their sweetness.

tickled to be linking toSepia Saturday

Three under three. I had two under two. Did you ever get to start drinking a cup of tea or coffee??? Lovely photo!

What a darling threesome! I was trying to do the math, wow, these children were both very close together, must have been good company for each other....

yes, Rosie, I had them in March, 1960; April, 1961; July, 1962. I was busy for quite awhile with little sleep!

cold tea, and cold food most times! but they were really well-behave kids wherever we went.

Absolutely adorable, and I know what you mean about wanting to squeeze them still after all these years.I have a couple of pictures that have that effect on me too.

Great contribution to SS this week - thanks for sharing.
Did you do the photo work? Nice job at bringing the colors back so vividly. There's something about the three of them that reminds me of my cousins. Perhaps it's the colors or the pose. Very sweet.

I did nothing to the original color photo; that's good old Kodak paper. I did edit it to make a sepia copy so I could post it on SS. But it is 50 years old!
