With the scenery all set it will be no time at all until Santa will be amazing all the little wide eyed ones.

Way too early! Lets have Thanksgiving first.
But of course, the sooner you get all the shopping done the better.
I just don't know how the people who work in the stores are going to be able to stand Christmas music all day long every day for another 5 weeks. I would be nuts!
But a really good choice for the letter S!

Actually, some signs of Christmas were evident even before Halloween. It seems each year, the push for buying for Christmas begins earlier and earlier. Some stores are extending their store hours on Thankgiving, for goodness sake. Facebook friends are asking that nobody do shopping on the holiday. I feel sorry for retail clerks with the drive of opening at dawn and closing at midnight. Yikes!

My 5-year-old grandaughter has already had a chat with Santa. He just happened to be there when she was at the mall with her mommy and insisted she just HAD to talk to him. :D

of course she did! I'm wondering if Myah will want to talk to him or walk away screaming.

I don't get out to 'the city' often so I don't get to see huge Christmas displays. These are just awesome. Btw, I never got a photo of my son in Santa's lap, he was afraid of the beard...

Pondering about My Blog

I've been through quite a bit these past months that I haven't posted.  First, packing and moving and then unpacking . The first step of unpacking was my taking down boxes that were five and six boxes high.  About two weeks after I’d moved and was in the midst of unpacking, I developed horrendous pain in my ribs. I slathered on my gel I use to alleviate Fibromyalgia pain. Realizing that even that was not helping. Trying to make a long story short- Asked for pain pills No help; asked for another kind Doctor wanted to see me Went in- he didn’t understand why I was still in pain Sent me to get x-rays Diagnosis: compressed fracture in my 9th vertebra Cause: osteporosis Now on meds for that I’ve discovered that anytime I overdo, pain comes back, not quite full-blown, but enough that I must stop doing whatever I’m doing. That includes sitting at my computer writing. I wanted to bring my friends up-to-date; I’m pondering whether I should stop blogging altogether o

Quirky Poem

Have humans sat here? Not recently, I think. Perhaps a snow couple rested for a while, and the shadowy remnants of them remain. more Cool Clicks
