Vintage Weekly # 86: William Ruttan's Home

This was the home of William Ruttan,
an ancestor of my late husband.
The first members of the Ruttan family
migrated from France.
Canada is now home to many Ruttans.
Charles' father and his siblings
ventured to Detroit, Michigan.
In the 1950s, Mr. Ruttan and his family
moved to Muncie, Indiana.
He owned a Ford car dealership here.

A very charming little house. It looks rather small but often they had quite large families in a space we think is too small. Thanks for sharing! I wish you a good week!

What a neat old house. From a different time!
I often wonder what our ancestors would think of us opening windows to their lives and posting around the world!

well, Ruby, I hope that they would take the same meaning of intention as my husband's Canadian relative and myself. Because I am thrilled to have one more link to his ancestors for my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
