Random 5 Friday: Nonnie's Five

1. The Colorado Blue Spruce I received
from Lowe's has grown an inch and a half
since before Christmas.  Color me excited!
2. I spent a lot of time today sorting through stacks
of papers and photos on my computer.  It's rather
a thankless job because there's nothing to show for it,
meaning the papers have been shredded and the photos
are gone from the digital albums.
3. During my sorting of papers,
I happened upon an incomplete journal entry
that I had begun three years ago.
I culled through my memory bank to finish the anecdote .
4. I enjoyed scrapbooking at my sister-in-law's
yesterday.  It had been more than a month since
we last met for that activity.  It is so much more fun
scrapbooking in a group than doing it solo.
5. I seem to be on a see-saw concerning
exercise and writing on a regular basis.  I hope that
I vow to myself to try harder to be more consistent.

do you know where the saying "color me excited" came from? i need to look it up & see. i love that it has grown up for you ... are you getting lots of light? water? need feeding that tree. ( :

no, I never thought about the phrase. I use 'color me' with about any emotion! the tree sits in the east window just over my sink, so yes, the tree gets lots of light, and water is available! thanks for caring. am I getting enough light? probably not, with the bone-chilling temperatures, I rush to my car and rush into wherever I'm going.

It has grown nicely and I like the glass in the window.
I will always make scrapbooking, but I find no real beginning ... have no one who participates with me -
Clear digital photos is strange - they disappear into nothingness -
Have a nice weekend

I'm just cycled in the sunshine...

As far as writing, I find this time of year particularly difficult to come up with new things to write about -- so you are not alone. I hope to be more prolific in the weeks to come as well. :)
Will you be able to plant it outside?

I'm amazed that a tree would grow this time of year!

I have struggled to find time to write anything this winter. It's killing me as I'm trying to write the second novel in my fantasy series.
