Vintage Weekly 111: Mother and Her Brothers


my momma
and her six brothers
all lined up

My widowed grandmother raised seven kids 
(two died in infancy),
remarried, had three more children.
Whew!

With six brothers, your momma's suitors surely faced the Kern inquisition, poor fellows. Glad she met someone of whom everyone apparently approved!

Great lineup! I hope the brothers approved, otherwise life for your father might not have been too pleasant!
She must have had a deep understanding of men. I think my sister and I suffered from not having brothers.
