ABC Wednesday: Nostalgia

NOSTALGIA

Magic-skin Baby,
most favorite toy during
my early childhood

magazines of yore
read them, cut out photographs
taped them to my mirror

posing in Grandma’s backyard...
a sweet memory

1950 was proclaimed as Indiana Territory Sesquicentennial Year
by Governor Henry F. Schricker.
Below is my uncle Charles dressed
in appropriate garb for the celebration.
Beards were a requirement or males
could be jailed in the "hoosegow"! (from Spanish "juzgado")

thanks, Carol. I am still receiving a warning message from Webroot whenever I visit Carol's site. Does anyone else get one there?
