ABC Wednesday: Shower

bridal shower game
the soon-to-be “newly weds”
longtime friends’ union

#1 granddaughter will marry her best friend next month.
Her best female friend (sister) planned and orchestrated her bridal shower.  It was like none ever attended by this old grams!  She is a planner par excellence. Games, food, drinks & desserts were savored by family and friends.

I agree totally, Hildred. It was hard to find a positive Hoosier quote on that topic- so many were sarcastic.

Organic and Fresh Salad

The beans seen above and layered on my salad below are grown by my granddaughter Candice.  The name of the beans is Tanya's Pink Pods. All veggies on her Earth Candy Acres farm are organically grown. The beans are delicious and tender, making a grand addition to my salad. Topping the veggies are dried cranberries, adding a bit of sweetness.
