Lovely fall of shadow shapes on the postcard and book. Beautiful writing style on the postcard too.

I loved that book. I hope to one day visit there.
Is there really a literary and potato peel society? ;)

The letters look wonderful as they sit on the cover of a nice book - the shadows add to a visual depth to a fun story I assume...

It was, Ralph. The telling of the story consisted of letters, etc going back and forth between one on Guernsey and the other in Londodn. Quite an interesting mode.

Oh! I know the story behind the potato peel pie! Really interesting. Love the handwriting on the envelope.
