that is a wonderful choice, I love birds and have always wanted chickens but my husband doesn't allow it ;-)

As a child, we used to go visit my grandmother's ranch, so I have fond memories of walking around the crops and playing with the chickens. The haiku you wrote captured the feeling of a chicken's life beautifully. Thanks for your visit to my blog and for your very thoughtful comment. I am familiar with the type boxes that you are referring too, but the one I used is a cardboard reproduction that I decorated. Blessings!
