NONNIE'S PHOTO A DAY, Day 210: Blue Skies (Smiling at Me)

Looking at this beautiful sky brought to mind a song that was popular in my childhood.  I still knew all the lyrics except for the introduction.  For you young'uns, the song can be heard on You Tube here.

Blue Skies by Irving Berlin

I was blue, just as blue as I could be
Ev'ry day was a cloudy day for me
Then good luck came a-knocking at my door
Skies were gray but they're not gray anymore

Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see
Bluebirds singin' a song
Nothin' but bluebirds all day long
Never saw the sun shinin' so bright
Never saw things goin' so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly

Blue days, all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on

I'm loving the clouds in your sky, because we're seeing so little of them in the Desert Southwest these days.
I like the white fluffy clouds!

MMT, I didn't think of that- of course, if you have little rain, you'd have few clouds.
