We have water restrictions in summer when we are not allowed to mow our lawns or wash our cars in the driveway. A sign of the good citizen is having a dry, yellow lawn!

Yes good idea, although I do know people whose greatest pleasure seems to be regular mowing.

We seldom have water restrictions as we have so much rain,
my husband loves and takes great pride in keeping the lawns
in trim order, definitely a British thing !Good word !
Every good wish for a happy and peaceful Christmas
