Haiku My Heart: Buckets of Rain

indistinct vista…
buckets of rain pouring down
 inundating streets

some say it’s angels
crying for humans below
dare we plead it cease?

Hi Norma. Lucky you to have buckets of rain. Love your Haiku and more than likely it could be angels crying for all of us who need prayer from all of the heartaches that are going on. Very nice.

I would welcome those tears... perhaps you can have a reprieve while they come and look over our parched lands over here... and... I don't know if you got my response to your comment, but I say yes!

Hi Nonnie, this is a lovely haiku, I will think about it when our long winter returns with many rainy days and grey skies...

Thank you for visiting me, knowing others who have gone through similar situations is comforting... My two sons live a distance, my daughter needs support herself. I keep praying for strength...x

Indistinct vistas are so mysterious. They give rise to many stories and poems!

There must be a lot of unhappy angels in the world at the moment Norma.

Only when we are beyond tears, which I hope we never are. Well done, Nonni.

Nice Haiku, Sounds like you've had some rain. We had a good "Thunderstorm" last night with rain & hail.

thanks, Gillena!
We need the rain so much but when it's a deluge, it can so often be damaging. Ah Mother Nature, she who cannot be predicted but without whom, we would be lost! Although I can see how those angels would have a lot of cry for right now. :(

oh the rain - either too much or too little - we can only accept and watch - seeking the beauty in each.
